Agmo Holdings Berhad and Theta Edge Bhd announced a strategic joint venture on 19 June 2025 to accelerate the commercialisation of artificial intelligence, blockchain and platform‑based services with an initial focus on public sector transformation. The joint venture company will be formed between Theta Technologies Sdn Bhd (a subsidiary of Theta Edge) and Agmo Capital Sdn Bhd (a subsidiary of Agmo), with Theta Technologies holding 51 % and Agmo Capital holding 49 % of the equity.
The joint venture is designed to leverage Theta Edge’s proprietary AI suite ThetaNeuron and domain expertise alongside Agmo’s ready‑to‑market technologies such as generative AI chatbots, localised large language models, telehealth platforms and blockchain‑based tools to rapidly deploy AI‑powered solutions. Initial growth strategies centre around halal traceability intelligence, AI‑driven digital health solutions and advanced analytics infrastructure, with the aim of driving transformative outcomes across sectors including financial services, healthcare, halal trade, smart logistics and government digitalisation
